Brian uses his life experiences to encourage and inspire a host of audiences. His inspirational messages combined with stories from his professional playing days have had a tremendous impact when shared at churches, youth-family and men’s outreach conferences, sports awards banquets, and corporate events across the United States and Canada.
Brian enjoys public speaking, coaching baseball, upland bird hunting, fishing, weight lifting, and collecting vintage baseball memorabilia. He is a member of the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association and in 2007 was inducted into the Kansas Baseball Hall of Fame along with Joe Carter, Bill James, and Phil Stephenson. He and his wife, Jami, live in Spring Hill, KS, and have four children Scott, David, Jennifer, and Kassidy.
On October 6, 2017, Brian Holman in cooperation with Focus on the Family gave an inspiring message about going back to the basics of the Christian faith and trusting in God's promises, which helped sustain him when his family was faced with a series of devastating losses and medical challenges.

“Coming within just one final out of pitching a perfect game for the Seattle Mariners during his long Major League career, Brian Holman has experienced both success and fame. Yet, Brian’s strength and faith has also been tested when his bright future was cut short by injury, his son’s brain surgery which led to a period of paralysis, his own heart surgery, and most tragically, the death of his young daughter, Kassidy, after a long battle with leukemia. Today, Brian is a highly successful and trusted financial advisor to many high-end clients, and he is a highly sought after motivational speaker who uses his various life experiences to bring courage and hope to all his listeners.”

“Everything about Brian is big league. Having heard him speak and spent time with him "one on one" I can honestly say he is someone everyone must hear and experience. Whether it is on the field, talking to kids or in business, we all benefit from the experience of a leader and encourager like Brian. We are called in Hebrews to "run the race set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith". That is what Brian is doing and what he has encouraged me to do. Brian has dealt with the fast balls and curve balls in life with grace and perseverance and hearing him will help you do the same. Sign him up!!!”

“I have heard many of the best speakers in the country from Armstrong to Ziglar--Brian Holman communicates as effectively as any of them, with tremendous impact. Even at 7:30 a.m., Brian held the attention of the audience (over 500) so tightly they roared with laughter at times but you could hear a pin drop when he dealt with the serious issues of life. I can’t wait for another opportunity to hear him!”
